Taylor Sheridan and Cole Hauser Fought the Second Time They Met

Cole Hauser, who plays Yellowstone, said that he and series co-creator and writer Taylor Sheridan have "become really close friends" over time.

However, Hauser admits that the second time the two met, years before Yellowstone, they actually got into a fight.

Hauser recounted his early days as an actor, when he collaborated and made friends with other aspiring actors including Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, in a 2022 interview with Men's J

Before they sold the screenplay for their breakthrough movie, Good Will Hunting, in which Hauser also starred, they really spent some time living with Hauser. 

Taylor Sheridan, an actor, writer, and producer who later co-created Yellowstone, and John Linson, a producer, were also in his early circle of pals.

For his rough-hewn character Rip Wheeler, played by Hauser, who frequently uses his fists to settle disputes, the actor told Men's Journal that he had plenty of off-screen practice

The question "Does a bear s--t in the woods?" When asked if he'd ever been in a bar fight, he laughed in response.

He continued, "I've probably been in one on every continent." "I don't see anything wrong with fighting, in my opinion.
