Helicopter Shot Down, Soldiers Killed by Terrorists in Northern Nigeria’s Niger State

A group of armed bandits has launched a violent raid on Chukuba Ward, a part of the Shiroro Local Government Area in Niger State

The attackers managed to shoot down a fighter Helicopter Shot Down that was patrolling the area, resulting in the death of the pilot.

The bandits also ambushed and killed 13 soldiers who were on duty along the Zungeru-Tegina road in Madaka Ward of Rafi Local Government Area.

The attack occurred on Monday morning, according to local sources.

The government has been urged to deploy all its military and security resources to the troubled areas and stop the spread of violence
