Does the former women's champion cut her hair at SummerSlam? Explore the possibility

The road to SummerSlam gets very exciting on SmackDown with a match between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso confirmed for the PLE. The blue brand is ready to offer many more exciting segments for the biggest party of the summer. One of these segments could involve a former women’s champion getting a haircut.

The former women’s champion in question is Bayley. Nearly three weeks ago, Bayley defeated Shotzi in a singles match on SmackDown. However, that wasn’t enough for the Damage CTRL member. Later in the show, Bayley was seen cutting Shotzi’s hair.

While Bayley may have thought she got the better of the interaction, last week Shotzi appeared on SmackDown via video and shaved off her hair. Once again this week, she delivered a horrific promo that left Bayley ringside. These constant promotions from Shotzi seem to indicate that she’s after Bayley.

At SummerSlam, Shotzi could beat Bayley and exact her revenge by cutting her hair. However, there is also the possibility that the match will take place before SummerSlam on an episode of SmackDown. That’s because SummerSlam already has two women’s matches confirmed, along with two in the pipeline.

Two women’s matches are said to take place at SummerSlam

At RAW this week, Ronda Rousey confirmed she will be meeting Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam. The development came after Baszler cheated on Rousey at Money in the Bank. In what appeared to be Rousey reverting to her old gimmick, the former champ cut a promo from a press box in the crowd and booked a match at PLE.

Later in the week on SmackDown, a triple threat match between Asuka, Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship was confirmed for the PLE. The match was confirmed soon after Asuka launched an attack on Flair after the latter beat IYO SKY in a singles match.

While these are the confirmed Women’s Division matches, there are chances that Rhea Ripley will defend her title against either Liv Morgan or Raquel Rodriguez based on recent developments. A potential feud-ending match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus could also take place.

Right now, the women’s division of RAW and SmackDown is having an amazing time. On social media, WWE is getting a lot of praise for the way it has booked its female wrestlers. In the coming weeks it will be interesting to see how each woman’s stories develop on both brands.
